I am still Alive... I think

Hello to both my readers....

I am so sorry that I haven't written on my blog for a while. Moving takes a very long time, I have discovered. I still don't feel completely moved in, and I still don't know where I put everything...

I probably would be a little more on top of things, however, if I didn't have 30,000 jobs... ok, well, maybe not 30,000 but I do have a lot of jobs... Let me see... I'm a secretary, registrar, second/third grade aftercare teacher, piano teacher and a Mary Kay independent consultant. So 5. I have 5 jobs... sigh. No wonder I'm tired.

*** I pause this bolg for a shameless plug:
Visit www.marykay.com/acarbonneau to view Mary Kay products, the number one selling brand in America! 24/7 service and delivery right to your door! Purchases of $40 or more receive a special thank you gift!!!!

Well, jobs are boring. But I did FINALLY get a kitchen table!!!!! I have been eating off of TV trays for about 3 months. THREE MONTHS PEOPLE. I cannot tell you how excited I am that Mark and I bought our first piece of furniture that is not made out of pergo board!!! AND this means that I have a somewhat matching furniture scheme. That's right. My table matches my chairs. THERE IS A GOD!!! Ok, well, I already knew that, but matching furniture just solidifies the knowledge.

Wow. My life is boring. All I can think of to write about are jobs and tables... The cat is having fun. I'm actually surprised. Usually she does something for/on April Fools day, but this year, nothing beyond the usual 2 am "I'm bored, let's play" noises. Let me think, the first year we bought her on April Fools day, and that caused quite a stir with Mark. He wasn't used to cats, especially kittens who like to poop. Then the year after she was playing with a piece of string on March 31st, which mysteriously disappeared only to re-emerge as a poo-covered piece of string on my pillow with which the cat was playing as she was pooping it out at 4 am. And last year, she was scared by another cat walking past our window (again at 4 am...) and pooed down the wall. I wonder what it is with Pepper and poo? All my even slightly funny cat stories revolve around her taking a dump in a really-not-so-good-place-to-take-a-dump spot.

AND, on that lovely note, I shall leave you, my reader(s) and go to bed, as it is already past my bed time and I still have to turn all my clocks back for daylight savings time!

Oh my sweet Amy... :) I am so glad to hear that Pepper kept the poops to herself this year! She deserves a treat.
