IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Friday and I am so happy!! I'm losing my voice due to a cough, but I am happy!!! Only 15 more minutes until I'M FREE FOR ONE WEEK (and one day). That's right ABSOLUTELY no work for ONE WHOLE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Freedom is just 15 minutes away.

To all you poor, poor people out there who do not work in academia, nah nah!!! I have spring break!!! Although, I suppose all you poor, poor people out there are saying "nah, nah, I make more money than you!"

I guess it's a toss up: lots of vacation (2 weeks at Christmas, Spring Break and Summer Break) vs. money. To be honest, I'm enjoying life far more (and I'm more productive because I have more time off) with all the vacations and I'm not burned out as quickly from all the work. Money isn't half as important to me as enjoying my job, and as much as I complain, I really do like my job. And I like vacation. It's really a great combination for me. The best part is that Mark and I have the same vacation schedule, so we don't have to worry about coordinating our vacation times.

Mark's parents are coming on Sunday night and staying almost the whole week! We are really looking forward to their visit. Mark has been hogging the computer at home all night looking at all the fun tourist things to do in our area. It's going to be one very packed week.

I really enjoy having company. Since Mark and I don't know a whole lot of people yet, having company gets us out of the house more than we normally would. Company gives us a reason to go places.

Well, I have only five minutes left now. I have to get the kids lined up and into the cafeteria. This is the hardest part of my day. Seriously, who wants to go sit in the cafeteria for a half hour and do homework after school? I don't blame them for dragging their feet. Although, it is harder for me to get out on time when they don't cooperate....
